CAIR-MD/VA is a chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a national Muslim advocacy organization. CAIR’s mission is to enhance understanding of Islam, encourage dialogue, and protect civil liberties. CAIR conducts regular media trainings to help teach the American Muslim community media relations basics and how to prepare for interviews.
